To those who wish to stay in Japan due to the unstable situation in Myanmar.

　ミャンマーにおいては２０２１年２月１日に国軍によるクーデターが発生し、各地で抗議デモが活発化しています。国軍・警察の発砲等による一般市民の死亡・負傷事案が発生し、デモに参加していない一般市民に対する暴力等も報告されており、情勢は引き続き不透明な状況です。
　そのため、ミャンマーにおける情勢不安を理由に本邦への在留を希望するミャンマー人については、緊急避難措置として在留や就労を認めることとなっています。
　また、難民認定申請者については審査が迅速に行なわれ、難民該当性が認められる場合には適切に難民認定がされます。難民該当性が認められない場合でも、上記と同様に緊急避難措置としての在留や就労を認めることになっています。

အမရြီးမပေါ်ကယ်ဆယ်မရြီးမဆာငရ် ွက်ေှုအမနမြင် မနထှိုငခ် ွငန် ငှ ် အလုပ်လုပ်ရနခ် ွငမ် ပြုခ က်ခ ခဲ ပါသည်။

Those who are unable to return to Myanmar due to the unstable situation there and wish to stay
in Japan are permitted to stay and work in this country under an emergency measure.

１対象者(Persons eligible for the measure)（ ပစ်ေှတ်ထာြီးသူေ ာြ）
　ミャンマー国籍を有する方又はミャンマーに常居所を有する外国籍の方で、ミャンマーにおける情勢不安を理由に本邦への在留を希望する方

ေန်ောနှိုင်ငံသာြီးမြစ်သူသုှိေ ဟုတ်မေန်ောနှိုင်ငံတွင်ပံုေှန်မနထှိုင်ရာမနရာရှှိသည ်နှိုင်ငံမခာြီးသာြီးမြစ်ငပ ြီး
မေန်ောနငှို င် ၏ံ အမမခအမနေတည်ငငေှိ ်ေှုေ ာြီးမကကာင် ဂ ပန်နှိုင်ငံတွင်မနထှိုင်လှိုသူေ ာြီး

Persons who wish to stay in Japan due to the unstable situation of Myanmar who either have
Myanmar nationality or are foreigners with a habitual residence there.

（注）現在有している在留資格に基づく活動を継続している方は、本措置に係る在留資格変更許可申請を行う必要はなく現在有している在留資格で引き続き在留できます。

(သတှိ) လက်ရှှိရထာြီးသည်မ နထငှို ခ် ွငဗ် ဇာကှိုအမမခခံသည ်လုပ်မဆာင်ခ က်ေ ာြီးကှိုဆက်လက်လုပ်မဆာင်မနသူသည်
ဤမဆာငရ် ွက်ေှုနငှ ပ် တ်သက်သည် မနထှိုငခ် ွငဗ် ဇာမမပာငြီး်လရန် ဲ ခွငမ် ပြုခ က်အတွက်မလ ာက်ထာြီးရန်ေလှိုအပ်ဘဲ
လက်ရှှိရထာြီးသည ်မနထှိုငခ် ွငဗ် ဇာမြငသ် ာ ဆက်လက်မနထှိုင်နှိုင်ပါသည်။

(Note) If you continue to engage in the activity permitted under your current status of
residence, you are not required to apply to change your status of residence and are permitted to
continue to stay in Japan under your current status of residence.

２措置内容（Details of the measure）（မဆာင်ရွ က်ေှုအမကကာင်ြီးအရာ）
　現在有している在留資格に基づく活動が満了した方（※１）については、原則として「特定活動（６か月・就労可）」への在留資格変更許可申請が可能です（※２）。
　また、特定産業分野（介護・農業等の１４分野）での就労を希望する場合、「特定活動（１年・就労可）」への在留資格変更許可申請も可能です。詳細は当事務所へお問い合わせください。

If you have completed the activity permitted under your current status of residence (*1), you
may apply to change your status of residence to “designated activities (for six months, work permitted)” in principle (*2).
If you wish to work in specified industrial fields (14 fields such nursing care and agriculture)
you may apply to change your status of residence to “designated activities (for one year, work permitted).” For details, Please contact our office.

※１「活動が満了した方」:例)雇用契約期間が満了した方、技能実習を修了した方、教育機関を卒業・修了した方などが該当します。

*1: The term “if you have completed the activity” means, for example, cases where your employment contract has expired, where you have completed a technical intern training program, or where you have graduated from or completed a course of an educational institution.

※２ミャンマーにおける情勢が改善されていないと認められる場合には、在留期間更新許可申請が可能です。

*2: If the situation of Myanmar is found to have not improved, you will be able to apply for a renewal of your period of stay.

３提出書類（Documents to be submitted）（တင်မပရေည ်စာရွ က်စာတေ်ြီးေ ာြီး ）
（１）在留資格変更許可申請書（様式Ｕ（その他））※顔写真も必要です。

Application for Change of the Status of Residence (Form U (Other))

　　*A photo of your face is also required.

（２）パスポートの写しやパスポートの出入国印など、上記１の対象者であることが分かる資料

A copy of your passport, immigration stamps on your passport, or any other document proving that you are eligible for the measure as specified in 1 above.
